Dance choreographers Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji have been engaged to create choreography for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King. The pair, who gained recognition as contestants on Dance Plus season 2 in 2016, have since collaborated on major Bollywood productions including Fighter and Liger. On 1 October, Bhagat announced the assignment on Instagram, expressing that working with Khan represents the pinnacle of their career ambitions.

King, directed by Siddharth Anand, features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, and others. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the songwriting team Sachin-Jigar. During a fan interaction on X, Khan shared enthusiastic remarks about reuniting with Padukone and Mukerji, calling it "the best ever," and even improvised a brief dialogue when fans requested a preview. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 24 December.
