Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed that his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand, will maintain its December 24 release date despite releasing just six days after Marvel's Avengers Doomsday (December 18). In an Ask Me Anything session, he addressed fan concerns about the scheduling conflict, using humorous metaphors to express confidence in the film's positioning.

The actor responded to various fan questions about the production. When asked if his son would watch Doomsday first, SRK quipped that the father's film would come first. He also praised his co-stars Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji, describing them as "best friends" to work with. SRK shared behind-the-scenes details about collaborating with director Anand, joking about wearing harnesses during stunts and the director's intense vocal presence on set.

King marks SRK's first theatrical release since Dunki in 2023 and features his daughter Suhana Khan in a significant role. The film is produced by his Red Chillies Entertainment banner. SRK revealed that playback singer Arijit Singh is perfecting one of the album's songs, and that a new teaser is forthcoming as post-production work continues.
