Shah Rukh Khan appeared on a television episode hosted by Amitabh Bachchan where he recounted a behind-the-scenes incident from a drama production directed by Farah Khan. During filming, Farah Khan complained to SRK that Abhishek Bachchan and Vivaan Shah were creating disturbances on set—they were distracted, chatting constantly, taking photos of Farah and posting them on Twitter, and generally causing trouble. She asked SRK to intervene and speak to them about their behaviour.

Initially, SRK tried to reassure Farah that the two were young and it was normal behaviour. However, when Farah insisted he address the issue, he agreed to talk to them. SRK said he approached the task with determination, ready to scold both actors.

But as he was about to reprimand them, SRK had a sudden realisation that stopped him. He explained that it occurred to him that Abhishek Bachchan's father is Amitabh Bachchan and Vivaan Shah's father is Naseeruddin Shah—both accomplished actors themselves. This thought led him to conclude that if their own fathers had not been able to teach them discipline, there was little he could do either. SRK shared this anecdote as a humorous reflection on why he ultimately decided not to scold them.
