Three major Bollywood actors—Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan—are participating in a music video tribute to legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle. The project, called 'Asha Forever', was created by composer AR Rahman to honour Bhosle's vast contribution to Indian music and cinema.
Rahman originally conceived the tribute while Bhosle was alive, hoping to present it to her directly. Following her death in April 2026 at age 92, he chose to proceed with the video as a major celebration of her legacy. Rahman publicly thanked each of the three actors for their involvement in the special endeavor.
Additionally, Bhosle's final recorded film song, titled 'Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chupi Hai Kaha' from the film Om Ka Hari, is scheduled for release on September 8—her birth anniversary—serving as another tribute to her enduring impact on Indian cinema.
