During an #AskSRK session on X, Shah Rukh Khan discussed his Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The actor described the festival as a simple family occasion where his wife performs the aarti and prayers, followed by the evening visarjan ritual. He noted that children and friends gather at home to spend time together and enjoy moments of laughter.
Khan, who is Muslim, has long been recognised for his inclusive approach to India's diverse religious festivals. Alongside Ganesh Chaturthi, he and his family celebrate Diwali, Eid, Holi, and Christmas with equal enthusiasm. His three children have been raised with respect for both Hindu and Islamic traditions, learning practices such as the Gayatri Mantra and namaz.
