Shah Rukh Khan will feature in the music video for Asha Forever, AR Rahman's tribute to the late singer Asha Bhosle, the composer confirmed in an announcement on 16 August.

Rahman publicly thanked Khan for agreeing to be part of the project, which he said he had first conceived while Bhosle was still alive, hoping she might see the tribute herself.

Bhosle died in April 2026 at the age of 92. Before her passing she had recorded a song with Rahman, and that recording now sits at the heart of the tribute, carrying her voice to a new generation of listeners.

The video gathers several artists in her honour. Alongside Khan, Kamal Haasan and Salman Khan have joined the project, with additional contributions from musicians associated with London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Rahman said the song would be released soon.
