During a recent 'Ask SRK' session on social media, Shah Rukh Khan responded to a fan query about the film Dhurandhar The Revenge, praising both parts as "fantastic by the whole team." According to an industry source, Khan attended an advance screening of Dhurandhar The Revenge at a private preview theatre owned by Salman Khan, one day before the film's theatrical release. The actor watched the film alongside his family and filmmaker Karan Johar.

The screening was arranged by director Aditya Dhar at Khan's request. Following the viewing, Khan spoke with Dhar and conveyed his appreciation for the film, which the director found encouraging. The preview theatre has previously been used for industry screenings, including an advance showing of Salman Khan's upcoming project Maatrubhumi to select filmmakers and collaborators.
