Slovak Ambassador to India Robert Maxian has shared a video in which he recreates the famous 'Senorita' dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ). In the video, Maxian delivers the line while driving a car: "Bade bade deshon mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain, Senorita," originally performed by Shah Rukh Khan's character Raj in the film.
Alongside the video, Ambassador Maxian posted a caption describing DDLJ as an "unforgettable Blockbuster" and expressed nostalgia for his years spent in India. He praised the 1995 romantic classic as a timeless film featuring Bollywood legends Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, and included hashtags referencing the film, Kajol, and Bollywood. He also tagged actor Anupam Kher in his post.
DDLJ tells the story of Raj and Simran, two characters who fall in love during a trip to Europe but face opposition from Simran's family who have other plans for her future. Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film was praised for blending romance, humour, family emotions and iconic music, with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's on-screen chemistry becoming legendary in Bollywood cinema.
The film continues to resonate with audiences across generations, from those who grew up watching it to Gen Z viewers. Its iconic dialogues and timeless songs remain memorable, and the film's long-running screening at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir theatre serves as a testament to its enduring appeal and the timelessness of its love story.
